Individual Academic Plans (IAP)
An Individual Academic Plan (IAP) is developed for every child. Starting in Kindergarten, a specific plan is developed for every child. The IAP is created from the data provided by the educational assessment tools teachers use as well as other subjective teacher evaluations. It is then implemented, monitored, communicated, and revised.

The IAP challenges a student to be the best he or she can be, but it does not mean that every child is expected to be at the top of the class. Instead, it allows each teacher to construct and implement a plan of action so each child shows continued, steady growth. Please know that many times the IAP is documented in an informal manner, but it still provides the teacher a record of strategies which can be used to help all students in their personal academic growth.
